Welcome viewer! Thank you for visiting.I hope you will like and comment on my posts.
In recent times, turbulent storms overwhelm us, causing disaster in our lives. Typhoon Noru and Hurricane Irma became the biggest and the most powerful storm of 2017, raging forcefully and violently over the ocean, destroying lives and possessions.Covid-19 became a pandemic spreading across Nations through 2019.
Through this post, I sympathize with millions of people who have lost their loved ones and possessions, including those who were deeply wounded in violent storms and flood disasters all over the world. Peace be with you.
In life-threatening situations like this we usually feel terrified, fearful ,angry, anxious and doubtful of Gods power to deliver us. These trial periods in our life paralyzes us, and we focus on the disasters instead of on Jesus Christ who has authority over all creation.
2 Timothy 1:7 says,” for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Since God has it all figured out, you do not need to fear. Jesus Christ has assured you that He will help you and is with you wherever you go.
Read Matthew 8:23-27, Mark 4:35-41, Luke 8:22-25.In these biblical passages ,Jesus disciples were frightened in the tossing boat ,but Jesus by his Word stilled the raging waters.
I don’t know the life-threatening situation that you are experiencing at the moment. I want to assure you that Jesus by his Word is going to still the raging storms in your life. He has authority over all creation including those storms in your life. This authority is in God’s Word therefore when we obey his authority, we accept him and his Word.
Jesus has power over all raging storms, and he is able to calm both the physical seas and the seas within our minds and souls. No authority overrides Gods authority therefore his Word is the final authority. John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God ,and the word was God.” God is living and active in his Word.
God desires to show his amazing power through your storm. Isaiah 40:29 says,” God gives power to those who are tired and worn out, and he offers strength to the weak.” Are you tired, worn out and weak as a result of despair, affliction, pain, anguish ,fear, suffering or struggle in life? Take courage, God will give you power and strength and his promises are sure, dependable and active.
Gods power is made perfect in weakness, and you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength(Philippians 4:13) Focus on Gods ability to do all things and not on your own ability. Look at God in the shadow of your problems. His power is greater than all your problems. Believe in the power of God in your life which is able get you through every storm.
In conclusion, I encourage all to focus on Jesus Christ, accept him and His powerful Word which is the final authority. Meet your fear with faith and trust in him. Turn to him in prayer for an enduring solution to all your disastrous and non-life threatening problems.I love you all and God bless you! Amen.
